The motor has a fluid-dynamic bearing with a bearing bush (12) held in a base plate (10), where the bearing bush has a shaft (14) rotatably supported in a bearing borehole. A bearing gap (16) is filled with bearing fluid and formed between surface areas of the shaft and the bearing borehole. A hub (30) is connected with a free end of the shaft, and a stator arrangement (42), rotor magnet (44) and conclusion ring (46) drive the hub, where a connection between the shaft and the hub is axially directed into the bearing bush. An independent claim is also included for a hard disk drive comprising devices for reading and writing data from/to a storage disk.
