PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector in which a positional deviation between an optical device and a projection lens is suppressed.SOLUTION: The projector includes an optical device body 45A, in which a plurality of optical modulation devices 451 and a cross dichroic prism 454 compositing respective color lights modulated by the respective optical modulation devices 451 are integrated to each other and the projection lens projecting the composited light, and the projector, further, includes a head body including a horizontal support part supporting the optical device body 45A and a vertical support part supporting the projection lens; and an auxiliary member 6 holding the prism between the auxiliary member 6 and the horizontal support part that holds the cross dichroic prism 454. The auxiliary member includes an abutting surface 611 abutting against the prism 454. The center position O of the abutting part 611 coincides with the position C of the center of gravity of the optical device body 45A, in plan view. |
