PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable generation of a template for performing layout processing from a single sample document.SOLUTION: When a user selects an instruction button for specifying a sample document, an input part 301 inputs data of the sample document generated beforehand and obtains logical information on the input sample document, then, it compares the logical information on the obtained sample document with logical information on the document to be edited, specifies a region within the sample document which is necessary for generating a layout template, generates a partial template of the specified region, and combines it with the template of the document to be edited to generate a desired layout template. |
