PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio tag communication apparatus that can radiate heat inside a shield member covering a high frequency circuit and can prevent the effect of external noise during radio communication.SOLUTION: The radio tag communication apparatus includes an antenna capable of transmitting and receiving signals for radio communication to and from a radio tag, the high frequency circuit for transmitting and receiving the signals via the antenna, the shield member formed of a member shielding electromagnetic waves and covering the high frequency circuit, a ventilation part provided in the shield member and having an openable shutter member formed of a member shielding electromagnetic waves, and a drive part capable of driving the shutter member to close the ventilation part during signal transmission via the antenna and driving the shutter member to open the ventilation part except during signal transmission via the antenna. |
