PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material comprising a pulp fiber and a thermoplastic resin useful for a molded article in which function for molding a thin film of water is required while retaining high hydrophilic property on a surface of the molded article in addition to the antistatic property.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the hydrophilic resin, the pulp fiber coated with a water dispersion of the thermoplastic resin containing a surfactant and being rich in viscosity at a melting point or lower of the thermoplastic resin made into a matrix after impregnated with a diluted aqueous solution of the surfactant and a water-insoluble starch are mixed with each other in the wet state and are dried, thereafter, the thermoplastic resin made into the matrix and the dried material are melted and kneaded. |
