PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel compound having a fluorene skeleton.SOLUTION: The compound represented by formula (1) (wherein rings Zand Zeach the same or different aromatic hydrocarbon ring; R, R, and Rare substituents; Ris an alkylene group; k is an integer of 0-4; m, n, and p are each an integer of not less than 1; and q and r are each an integer of not less than 0) is obtained by reacting a fluorenone represented by formula (2) (wherein Rand k are the same as defined above) with a compound represented by formula (3) (wherein Z, R, R, m, n and q are the same as defined above) and a compound represented by formula (4) (wherein Z, R, p, and r are the same as defined above) in the presence of an acid catalyst and a thiol. |
