摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a slide of a servo press, which does not require users to add new components and which reliably prevents a workpiece from bouncing.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: stopping the slide intermediately at the intermediate stop position P1 in the process of lifting the slide from a bottom dead point PO to a top dead point during the time period from T1 to T2; holding down the workpiece by the slide stopping intermediately when a knockout device removes the workpiece from the mold, wherein a timing T2 for lifting the slide again is defined to be the time after a knockout pin of the device reaches to the top dead point, which reliably prevents the workpiece from bouncing. Consequently, the method stabilizes the attitude of the workpiece under conveyance and prevents a conveyor from improperly conveying the workpiece. Also, the method is adaptable to the existing equipment (servo press) easily and in low cost since it does not require users to add new components.
