In a luminaire (1) having an elongated housing (2), which is formed by a profiled body (10) divided into a plurality of channel-like regions (12, 13) that extend in the longitudinal direction of the housing (2) and that are provided for receiving light sources (6) and optionally optical elements (7, 15, 16), at least one light emission opening is associated with each channel-like region (12, 13) for outputting light. In the event that the luminaire (1) is mounted on a substantially vertically oriented support, for example a wall, the collectivity of the light emission openings enables light to be output both toward the upper face and toward the lower face. |
