Disclosed is a reduced weight sprinkler head which can reduce weight burden on an extinguishing equipment pipe, and also reduce weight burden during transportation and when attaching to extinguishing equipment. A sprinkler head (A) comprises a main body provided with a pipe connection section (1A) and a frame section (2). The frame section (2) comprises: a beam-shaped section (2J) (inside flange (2C)) provided with outer surfaces projecting towards the outside of the pipe connection section (1A), which locks a lever (11) of a heat-sensitive decomposition member (4) at facing positions on the outer surfaces; and an aperture (2E) which forms a void on the outer surface from the side of the pipe connection section (1A) to the beam-shaped section (2J). This allows the frame section (2) to be considerably reduced in weight. Thus, the weight burden of a plurality of sprinkler heads (A) on extinguishing equipment can be reduced, and the weight burden during transportation and when attaching to the extinguishing equipment pipe can also be reduced. |
