The present invention relates to a structure for fixing a pillar of facilities such as road signs, road traffic signal lights, closed-circuit television (CCTV), streetlights, telegraph poles or the like; and a construction method thereof. More particularly, a pillar is inserted into and supported in a tubular supporting body, which is buried at the upper portion of a hollow section vertically formed in the center of a concrete foundation structure manufactured by precast concrete (PC). The cutaway groove of the pillar, which is formed by cutting a predetermined length of the pillar from the lower end portion towards the upper portion thereof, is inserted and fixed by a cross-type holding die, which is buried in the middle portion of the vertical hollow section. The concrete foundation structure and the pillar are coupled and fixed by coupling means. Therefore, the construction of the pillar is carried out easily, reducing construction time thereof. In addition, it is not necessary to control traffic for roads during the installation of the pillar and the inconvenience of pedestrians on the sidewalks is minimized. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent the generation of distortion and buckling in the pillar due to strong typhoons and the weight of the facilities of the pillar. |
