<p>Disclosed is an actuator that supplies power during a power outage at an appropriate timing to a detector for detecting the position of a driven object, is able to suppress power consumption by the detector, extending the endurance of a battery, and is able to select and use each type of detector without limitation in response to usage environment and application. During a power outage, a switching means (40) transitions the input shaft (11) of a speed reduction mechanism (10) and a manual input means (30) to an interlocked state, a detection means detects this interlocked state, a control unit (70) supplies power from a battery (80) to a rotation detector, and the displacement of the driven object can be acquired by the control unit (70) on the bases of the output signal from the rotation detector, and so power is supplied to the rotation detector while the speed reduction mechanism (10) is in the state wherein the input shaft (11) thereof can be manually rotated, enabling the suppression of wasteful consumption of power of the battery (80), and enabling the appropriate acquisition of the displacement of the driven object without interruption even during a power outage.</p> |
