PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting unit with a switch capable of lighting up a site of a switch operation section by one light source upon turning off the switch and using light of the same light source as illumination light for illuminating indoors upon turning on the switch.SOLUTION: The lighting unit with a switch includes: a first housing 10 having a lens 40 capable of emitting illumination light from the inside to the outside and arranged on a panel wall 10A so as to make a switch knob 30, which can be illuminated by the lens according to an ON operation, face to the outside; a regularly lighted LED 50 arranged in a second housing 20; and a set of gears 37, 72 for turning an illumination direction so as to make LED light become light for illuminating the switch knob when the switch knob is turned off and turning the illumination direction so as to make the LED light become the illumination light from the lens when the switch knob is turned on. |
