PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition and an ink set which have good impact position accuracy and blocking resistance.SOLUTION: The ink composition includes a pigment, water, a polymerizable compound having an acrylamide structure, a polymerization initiator and a wetting agent that is in the form of a solid at an atmospheric temperature and pressure, the wetting agent being included in the ink composition in an amount of from 0.01 mass% to 400 mass% relative to the polymerizable compound having an acrylamide structure. The wetting agent preferably includes at least one compound selected from a sugar containing no unsaturated bond in a side chain and compounds represented by general formula (I) to general formula (III). In the formulas, Rto Reach independently denote a hydrogen atom, a ≤10C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, a heterocycle, or an aromatic group; Ris a 1-3C divalent saturated hydrocarbon group; Rto Reach independently denote a hydrogen atom, a ≤5C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group, or a hydroxy group; and n denotes an integer of 1 to 30, and when n is plural, Rto Rmay be different each other. |
