PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humanized anti-ciguatoxin antibody which shows minimal human anti-mouse antibodies response and strong affinity to ciguatoxin.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a humanized antibody or its fragment recognizing ciguatoxin species being ciguatoxin CTX3C or 51-hydroxy-CTX3C wherein the antibody or its fragment is featured by that a heavy chain and a light chain respectively having a variable region comprising a framework region (FW) of human immunoglobulin and complementarity determining region (CDR) of mouse antibody 10C9 recognizing ciguatoxin species produced by a hybridoma of FERM BP-8292 are at least included and a specifically-positioned amino acid in FW of the light chain and heavy chain is substituted by an amino acid existing at a corresponding position of the light chain of the mouse antibody 10C9.
