PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editing image data generating device which reduces a load applied on an editing operation when image data are combined with character string data, and to provide an editing image data generating method.SOLUTION: When image data are combined with character string data to generate editing image data, additional information is read out from the image data (Step S102). When characters are inputted by an operation part (Yes in Step S103), character string data which include the inputted characters among the character string data corresponding to the additional information read out from the image data are displayed as the selection candidates on a display screen (Step S104). By this, a load applied on editing operation when the image data are combined with the character string data can be reduced as compared with that, in operation in which the character string data are inputted in units of characters. |
