PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio base station that does not impose any load on a wireless terminal, and obtains an operation status of an adjacent base station even when radio communication is not established with the wireless terminal.SOLUTION: The radio base station 1 to be used for an FDD radio communication system using different uplink and downlink frequency bands includes: an antenna 110, a duplexer 130 for extracting a signal component in an uplink frequency band from a radio signal received by the antenna 110; a frequency conversion unit 120 that is provided on a signal path between the antenna 110 and the duplexer 130, and converts a signal component in a downlink frequency band included in the radio signal received by the antenna 110 to a signal component in an uplink frequency band; and a measurement unit 210 for measuring a signal component in an uplink frequency band extracted by the duplexer 130. |
