PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which performs suitable shake correction even when panning and tilting operations are performed when the imaging apparatus is fixed to a tripod or the like.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imager; a detector for detecting shake of a self-apparatus; an analyzer for analyzing frequency characteristics of the shake detected by the detector; and a corrector for reducing the shake of an image to be picked up by the imager based on a detection result by the detector, wherein the corrector analyzes stops correction when the analyzer analyzes a low-frequency component equal to or more than a first predetermined value and analyzes a high-frequency component equal to or less than a second predetermined value. |
