PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having metal luster clearly different from the texture of a synthetic resin, attracting the attention of a purchaser in a shop, and advantageous upon enlarging a sales quantity.SOLUTION: The golf ball 10 has a sphere 12, an under layer 14, a metal thin film layer 16, and a top layer 18. The under layer 14 is formed of the first acrylic coating material covering all the area of the surface 1202 of the sphere 12. The metal thin film layer 16 is formed by a metal deposited film covering all the area of the surface 1402 of the under layer 14 of an opposite side of the surface 1202 of the sphere 12 and has the metal luster. The metal thin film layer 16 is formed by putting the sphere 12 formed with the under layer 14 in a depositing device and depositing a metal material. The top layer 18 is formed of the second transparent acrylic coating material covering all the area of the surface 1602 of the metal thin film layer 16 of the opposite side of the under layer 14. |
