PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thin-film solar cell for increasing a power generation area as compared with prior methods by setting the width of a non-conductive surface region to be formed along each side of a square substrate to more appropriate setting width.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a thin-film solar cell includes a deposition process of forming a thin-film optoelectric transducer 11 on a surface of a translucent square substrate Q1 including a pair of a first side 1a and a third side 1c mutually positioned at opposite sides and a pair of a second side 1b and a fourth side 1d, where the sides are mutually positioned at opposite sides and at least one of the sides is nonvertical to the first side 1a as a reference, and a film removal process of removing the thin-film optoelectric transducer formed along the first, second, third, and fourth sides 1a to 1d of the substrate Q1 with the setting widths Wa, W predetermined by a setting width determination step to form first, second, third, and fourth non-conductive surface regions P11 to P14. |
