PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-material-containing iron oxide briquette composition that, when obtaining reduced iron by heating in a moving hearth reduction furnace, prevents powder from being accumulated in the furnace due to powdering, and reliably prevents the yield from being reduced due to powdering when the obtained reduced iron is conveyed, and to provide a method for producing same, and a method for producing reduced iron using same.SOLUTION: The carbon-material-containing iron oxide briquette composition is characterized by: the solidus temperature of an AlO-CaO-SiOternary system slag in the briquette composition, that is determined by the amount of contained AlO, CaO, and SiOis ≤1,300°C and the briquette composition has such a mixed amount of the carbon material that the content of the carbon remaining in the reduced iron produced by heat-treating the briquette composition in the moving hearth reduction furnace at a temperature higher than the solidus temperature and lower than the liquidus temperature of the ternary system slag becomes ≤6 mass%. |
