PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make ice of high transparency.SOLUTION: The water is poured into a deaerating vessel 58 from a water supply tank 44 in a water storage mode of the deaerating vessel 58. The water is injected while keeping a deaerating space in the deaerating vessel 58, the deaerating vessel 58 is switched from the water storage mode to a closed mode when the water is injected into the deaerating vessel 58, the air is discharged from the deaerating space in the closed mode of the deaerating vessel 58, and the deaerating vessel 58 is kept in the closed mode until a deaerating period is passed with the deaerating space decompressed. The deaerating period is a time necessary for a gas remaining in the water in the deaerating vessel 58 to be released to the deaerating space, and the deaerated water in the deaerating vessel 58 is injected into an ice tray 36 by switching the deaerating vessel 58 from the closed mode to a draining mode when the deaerating period is passed. As the water in the ice tray 36 is frozen with gas removed, the ice of high transparency can be made. |
