PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a power supply apparatus 1 for a reefer container 20, which can easily perform the electric connection and release between a power supply facility for a container ship, a trailer for carriage of containers, or a reefer stand and a reefer container 20 in a short time and simply, and to provide a device therefor.SOLUTION: The power supply apparatus 1 has a primary coil 2 which is installed via a transfer mechanism 4 on the side of the power supply facility, and a secondary coil 3 which is installed on the side of the reefer container 20, and the transfer mechanism 4 has a lifter 5 which adjusts the primary coil 2 in at least the vertical direction, and a tilting mechanism 8 which tilts the primary coil 2. When electrically connecting the power supply facility 1 with the reefer container 20, it performs control for executing power supply while setting the vertical position of the primary coil 2 to the height of the secondary coil 3, and when releasing the electric connection between the power supply facility and the reefer container 20, it operates the tilting mechanism 8 thereby shifting the primary coil 2 in a direction of leaving from the secondary coil 3 to perform control for stopping power supply. |
