PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate the possibility of an abnormality of a component of a vehicle by considering the travel route of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An abnormality prediction device for the vehicle includes a travel route detecting means for detecting the feature of the travel route of the vehicle, a component vibration detecting means for detecting vibration of the component of the vehicle during vehicle travel or a component sound detecting means for detecting a component sound generated from the component of the vehicle during vehicle travel, a learning/storing means for associating the vibration or sound detected under a condition that no abnormality occurs in the vehicle with the feature of the travel route detected by the travel route detecting means and storing them, and an abnormality evaluating means for evaluating the possibility of the abnormality of the component of the vehicle by comparing the vibration or sound associated with the feature of the travel route and stored in the learning/storing means with the vibration or sound detected by the component vibration detecting means or component sound detecting means when the travel route detecting means detects the feature of the travel route substantially the same as the feature of the travel route stored in the learning/storing means.
