PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas recovery conduit set in which remaining air in a gas meter can be purged by a simple instrument without applying excessive negative pressure in the gas meter and a method of replacing the gas meter using the conduit.SOLUTION: After replacing the gas meter 5, a meter cock 3 of an inlet pipe 1 is closed, and a gas recovery container 20 is connected to a T-tube 4 of an outlet pipe 2 via the conduit 10. The inside of the container 20 is made substantially vacuum. The conduit 10 includes a vacuum breaker 13 and a needle valve 14. The opening of the needle valve 14 is set so that the flow rate of gas flowing in the conduit 10 becomes the maximum flow rate or less of the gas meter 5. After the meter cock 3 is opened, a valve 23 is opened, and the remaining air in the gas meter 5 is pushed out by gas and recovered in the container 20. |
