PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that mistake are apt to arise because of inexperience in the cases where a customer himself/herself performs bar-code reading work, and further, also on the store side, it takes time to check in which of a plurality of articles reading mistakes lie, with the bar codes of the articles read by the customer by using a device.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a scanner 7 reading information given to an article, a weigher 6 for measuring the weight of the article, a cart CPU 30 for comparing allowable weight range information corresponding to article information read by the scanner 7 with the weight of the article measured by the weigher 6, and a RAM 32 for therein storing a registered article table that includes determination information comprising the article information and a comparison result corresponding to the article information. |
