PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of preventing the jam of paper and reducing a margin.SOLUTION: The printer includes a paper feeding section feeding the paper, a printing section printing the paper, and a cutter section making an incision in the printed paper so that a small piece can be cut off, wherein the printed paper being in such a state that the small pieces are connected is discharged from a paper discharge port. The printer further includes: a determination section determining the remaining number of small pieces discharged from the paper discharge port and not cut off; and a control section controlling the paper feeding section so as to stop the feeding of the paper to the paper discharge port after the operation of the cutter section, when the remaining number is lager than a previously set predetermined number and controlling the paper feeding section so as to feed the paper to the paper discharge port after the operation of the cutter section, except when the remaining number is larger than the previously set predetermined number. |
