PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination facility that shortens a travel distance of equipment for employees working under a heavily contaminated environment, and also achieves efficient decontamination.SOLUTION: The decontamination facility has: an equipment recovery box 10, which is placed in a cleaning zone where the equipment for employees working in radiation-related facilities is treated so as to be in a reusable condition, for recovering the equipment for the employees working under the heavily contaminated environment in the radiation-related facilities; and decontamination instruments 42 and 44 for decontaminating the equipment recovered by the equipment recovery box 10. A recovery area where the equipment recovery box 10 is arranged and a decontamination area where the decontamination instruments 42 and 44 are set up are laid out so that both areas can adjoin each other to recover and decontaminate the equipment in one area. |
