摘要 In conventional lithium ion secondary batteries widely used as power supplies for portable electronic apparatuses, it is becoming extremely difficult to display the polarities of terminal electrodes as the sizes of the batteries are further reduced. Since different kinds of materials are respectively used as active materials configuring the positive electrode and the negative electrode in the conventional lithium ion secondary batteries, there has been a possibility of generating problems of malfunctioning and heating failure of the electronic apparatuses when the batteries are mounted with wrong electrode polarities. Disclosed is a nonpolar secondary battery which is manufactured by developing the battery that functions as a secondary battery using an active material, even if the same material is used as the active material, with which the positive electrode and the negative electrode are configured. Since the terminal electrodes are not differentiated, there is no need to be careful about the mounting direction, and a mounting step is simplified. Furthermore, steps of manufacturing the battery is simplified, since there is no need to separately manufacture a positive electrode layer and a negative electrode layer.
