PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer cooling system and a computer cooling method for further reducing power consumption of an air conditioner.SOLUTION: Air in a computer room 20 is conditioned by the air conditioner 21. A fan 15 generates an air flow in a housing of the computer 12. When a temperature of a heating element 13 is high, an electromagnetic valve 17 is controlled by a control unit 19 and compressed air is discharged from a nozzle 16 to cool the heating element 13. Since the heating element 13 can be held at a predetermined temperature or less by discharging compressed air, the temperature set in the air conditioner 21 can be increased, accordingly. Consequently, operation time of the air conditioner 21 can be reduced and power to be consumed by the air conditioner 21 can be reduced. |
