PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer improved in communication response performance.SOLUTION: The microcomputer 1 includes a transmission unit 40, a detection unit 50 for outputting a wake-up notice upon detecting a wake-up factor, and a timer 60 for starting time measurement with the wake-up notice from the detection unit 50 as a trigger and outputting a response time elapse notice with an elapse of a predetermined response time. Upon receiving the wake-up notice outputted from the detection unit 50, a CPU 30 starts wake-up operation, and upon receiving the response time elapse notice outputted from the timer 60, it starts the transmission of a transmission instruction to the transmission unit 40. After receiving the response time elapse notice from the timer 60, the transmission unit 40 operates by a clock signal from a sub-oscillator 20 until the predetermined time elapses, and after the elapse of a time for one frame of the clock signal oscillated in the sub-oscillator 20 after receiving the response time elapse notice, it operates by a clock signal from a main oscillator 10. |
