PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna measuring device and an antenna measuring method in which an elementary electric field in each phase shift condition of a phase shifter is measured only by amplitude measurement of combined electric power of an array antenna and measuring time is shortened.SOLUTION: The antenna measuring device includes a first operation means 8, 9, 11, with a phase shifter control means 4 controlling a passing phase of a phase shifter 2 in a phased array antenna containing two or more element antennas 1 and the phase shifter to change an excitation phase of an interested element array by 360 degrees, wherein an elementary electric field of the interested element antenna is computed from an average value of electric power change measured by a receiver during the period and Fourier coefficients of fundamental wave components obtained by Fourier series expansion; a second operation means 10 which carries out Fourier series expansion of the power change measured by the receiver to computes Fourier coefficients of harmonic components; and a third operation means 12 which estimates the elementary electric field in each phase shift condition of the phase shifter of the interested element antenna based on the elementary electric field of the first operation means and the Fourier coefficients of the harmonic components of the second operation means. |
