PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber composition which gives a cured product excellent in sufficient antistatic performance not only at room temperature but also at a high temperature without deteriorating a compression set, and to provide a method for satisfactorily maintaining and improving the compression set resistance of an antistatic silicone rubber cured product using the composition.SOLUTION: The silicone rubber composition includes (A) an organopolysiloxane which is represented by the average composition formula (1): RSiO(wherein R may be the same or different and is an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, and n is a positive number of 1.95 to 2.04), and has at least two alkenyl groups per molecule, (B) a reinforcing silica having a specific surface area of 50 m/g or more, (C) an ion conductive antistatic agent, (D) an alkaline substance selected from alkali metal hydroxides, alkali metal oxides, alkali metal fatty acid salts, alkali metal alcoholates, and alkali metal siliconates, and (E) an organic peroxide curing agent. |
