PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload preventing structure of a transmission roller chain that can surely prevent the damage to pins and plates by mechanically absorbing a momentary overload that cannot be coped with by an electronic overload preventing device, in an inexpensive and simple structure.SOLUTION: The overload preventing structure for the transmission roller chain wound between a driving sprocket and a driven sprocket and having inner links each held by a pair of outer plates and connected by pins, is adapted to arrange an elastic body at a projecting part with the pin projected from the outer plates and to turn the inner link and the outer plates by the elastic body with the pin as a fulcrum to form a triangular bent part. |
