PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure which can prevent water repellent contamination by a sealing material.SOLUTION: The joint structure can realize the attachment of a rectangular joint cover 36 on a transverse joint 24. The joint cover 36 includes a rectangular mounting part 38 and a protective piece 40. A retractable hinge part 42 is provided between the mounting part 38 and the protective piece 40. In such a state that the mounting part 38 in the joint cover 36 is fixed to a lower-surface small port 34 in an upper outer wall panel 20, a sealing material 25 is filled into the transverse joint 24, followed by drying of the sealing material 25. After drying of the sealing material 25, when the hinge part 42 is bent, the protective piece 40 is fitted into the transverse joint 24 in such a state that the protective piece 40 covers the surface of the sealing material 25. That is, the surface of the sealing material 25 is covered by the protective piece 40 in the joint cover 36. According to this constitution, rain water is less likely to adhere to the surface of the sealing material 25, whereby water repellent contamination by the sealing material 25 can be prevented. |
