PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system having improved heat radiation in a state where a lamp device is mounted on a socket device.SOLUTION: The lamp device 14 includes a board 35 on which an LED is mounted, a substrate 21 to which the board 35 is attached, and a base 24 provided on the substrate 21. The substrate 21 has a board mounting part 28 to the lower face of which the board 35 is attached, and an annular heat conductive face 30 exposed to the outside is provided around the upper face of the board mounting part 28. The socket device 13 includes a radiator 61 having an opening portion 66, and a socket body 62 arranged in the opening portion 66 of the radiator 61. On the socket body 62, the base 24 of the lamp device 14 is detachably mounted so that the heat conductive face 30 of the substrate 21 of the lamp device 14 being mounted thereon is closely attached to the radiator 61.
