PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optimum one of combinations between a plurality of frequency bands and uplink transmission methods, thereby performing uplink transmission, when a mobile station device which can be connected to a base station apparatus using the plurality of frequency bands performs uplink transmission.SOLUTION: The mobile station apparatus groups a plurality of frequency bands together to be connected to the base station apparatus and makes a request to the base station apparatus for an uplink radio resource required to transmit uplink data, selects, based on a first condition, an uplink frequency band to make the radio resource request using a random access channel from one of the frequency bands, and selects, based on a second condition, either the transmission of the radio resource request using the random access channel or the transmission of uplink data using an uplink radio resource common to another mobile station apparatus. |
