摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily sticking a polarizing plate to an end of a glass substrate constituting a liquid crystal cell.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a cell for a liquid crystal display device includes sticking a polarizing plate to the surface of a substrate for a liquid crystal cell, and the method includes a preparation step, a polarizing plate-sticking step and a polarizing plate-cutting step. In the preparation step, at least one substrate for a liquid crystal display device is prepared, on which a liquid crystal display part and a terminal part are formed. In the polarizing plate-sticking step, a polarizing plate is stuck to the surface of at least one substrate for a liquid crystal display device so as to cover the liquid crystal display part and to protrude from the substrate end in a region where the liquid crystal display part is formed. In the polarizing plate-cutting step, the polarizing plate protruding from the end of the substrate for a liquid crystal display device is cut by irradiation with a laser beam.
