PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map display apparatus and a program for enabling a user to easily recognize information.SOLUTION: The map display apparatus 1 dynamically changes, in route guidance processing, a display mode (transparency and width) of a route line to be superimposed on a map display screen with the correlation as shown in Fig.2(a). In the elliptical graph shown in Fig.2(a), a control point moves on the circumference of the ellipse. In the graph, when the control point is moved in a region A, the route line is displayed with low transparency and small width. On the other hand, when the control point is moved in a region B on the opposite side, the route line is displayed with high transparency and large width. Between the region A and the region B, the route is displayed in intermediate mode where the values of the parameters are intermediate between those in the region A and those in the region B. |
