PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an efficient and reliable inverter device in inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: The inverter device includes a switching circuit which is composed of a plurality of upper and lower arms, and a control means which drives the switching circuit, and a switching element, which constitutes an upper arm side switching circuit, is a voltage drive type element, and a switching element, which constitutes a lower arm side switching circuit, is a current drive type element. The circuit cost of the low-loss and high-speed switching element is reduced by having a bootstrap circuit which applies a power voltage for driving the element in the upper arm side switching circuit, and a loss in an inverter circuit is reduced by optimally performing the drive control of the switching element, thereby improving its efficiency. |
