PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed product made from an undaria pinnatifida bottom stem which is reduced in smelling of the sea peculiar to undaria pinnatifida and has favorable white color tone, and whose skin is removed.SOLUTION: The method for producing a processed product made from an undaria pinnatifida bottom stem includes performing the following processes (A)-(C) in sequence: (A) a process for bringing an undaria pinnatifida bottom stem 3 into contact with an acid drug followed by washing the bottom stem with water; (B) bringing the undaria pinnatifida bottom stem obtained in the process (A) into contact with an alkaline agent followed by washing the bottom stem with water; and (C) a process for peeling the skin of the undaria pinnatifida bottom stem obtained in the process (B). |
