PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ferro coke for metallurgy, in which the COreactivity of the coke in the ferro coke in a blast furnace is enhanced so that the temperature in a thermal reserve zone can be lowered to reduce the ratio of a reducing material when a molded object comprising a carbonaceous material and iron ore is carbonized to produce the ferro coke.SOLUTION: The method for producing ferro coke for metallurgy comprises the steps of: molding a mixture of the carbonaceous material with the iron ore to form the molded object; and carbonizing the molded object to produce the ferro coke. The maximum temperature of the ferro coke during the carbonization is 800-900°C, preferably, 800-850°C. |
