PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier-free flooring tatami mat which can surely eliminate a step between itself and an existing floor surface in a necessary location, which is not dented or damaged even when a care vehicle such as a wheelchair runs thereonto, and which is made barrier-free.SOLUTION: The barrier-free flooring Tatami mat 10 includes a Tatami core 12 in which at least one side portion of a square plate-like base material made of a wood fiber board is provided with an inclined portion 12a having a thickness changed in such an inclined manner as to form a rising gradient toward a center from an end surface, and a Tatami facing 14 which is stuck on the surface of the Tatami core 12. In addition, a reinforcing layer 16 impregnated with a synthetic resin is provided on the front side of the inclined portion 12a; and the inclined portion 12a is compression-molded by pressing. |
