PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of reducing risk in driving and eliminating waste of time.SOLUTION: The information providing system includes: a means for acquiring route data to a predetermined facility and actual travel route data to the predetermined facility (steps S202 and S204); a means for extracting a facility-related special rule around the facility based on a difference between the expected route data and the actual travel route data (step S208); and a means for providing a driver with the facility-related special rule applied to the route data to the predetermined facility, depending on whether the facility-related special rule is present.
