PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat slide device improving ease of installation of a memory member while reducing the exposure thereof.SOLUTION: A memory piece 30 is mounted movably along the longitudinal direction of a lower rail 3 in an inner space S formed by the lower rail 3 and an upper rail 4, and the movement of the memory piece is locked by the fitting thereof into a locking hole 12a. A rear end locking hole 37 as the locking hole 12a disposed at the rearmost end is an oblong hole. The oblong hole extends backwards using, as a starting point, a position corresponding to a predetermined spacing where a plurality of locking holes 12a are formed, and is set so that the front end portion thereof is located ahead of the rear end of the upper rail 4 that is located at the frontmost part with respect to the lower rail 3, and the rear end portion thereof is exposed backwards. A frontmost stopper bracket 41 is fixed to a bottom wall 12 of the lower rail 3, and restricts movement of the memory piece 30 fitted at the front end portion of the rear end locking hole 37 to the rear end portion thereof. |
