PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, an image reader, and an image forming apparatus which do not require a user to perform operation of setting and inputting the binding direction of an original image and orientation of the image while being conscious of the direction and the orientation, thereby reducing a burden of that operation.SOLUTION: The image processor is equipped with: a storage section for storing input image data; an image direction determination section for determining the direction of the image formation on the original based on the image data stored in the storage section; and an image data editing section for editing the image data based on a determination result by the image direction determination section. The image reader is also equipped with: a reading section for reading images on the front and back surfaces of the original and outputting the read images as the image data; and an image forming section for forming the images on the front and back surfaces of a recording medium. |
