PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor motor for preventing deformation and dispersion of teeth at an outer peripheral part of a stator core, securing a motor torque and reducing an electric energy loss.SOLUTION: The outer rotor motor includes: at least one fixing component imaginarily obtained by vertically bisecting a body formed of a sheet material surrounding a tooth along its surface, a cross-section of the fixing component in a direction orthogonal to a motor-radius-direction of the tooth at the peripheral part of the stator core having a cornered-U shape; and at least one fixing component imaginarily obtained by horizontally bisecting a body formed of the sheet material surrounding the tooth along the its surface, a cross-section of the fixing component in a direction orthogonal to the motor-radius-direction of the tooth having a conered-U shape. Dimensions in the motor-radius-direction of the fixing components are the same as those of the tooth, and the fixing components are manufactured by using a sheet made of an electromagnetic steel the same as the stator core. The at least two fixing components are fitted on the tooth from directions mutually orthogonal and are engaged to each other so that two sides consisting of a base and either of sides of the cornered-U shape of one of the fixing components and two sides consisting of a base and either of sides of the cornered-U shape of at least the another fixing component are overlapped, respectively. |
