<p>The embodiments of the present invention disclose the methods for multi-mode base station acquiring an external clock signal and the multi-mode base station. The methods and the multi-mode base station belong to mobile communication field. A method includes the following steps: a standard module of a multi-mode base station acquires the external clock signal from an external clock source (S301); the standard module provides the external clock signal to each standard module of the multi-mode base station as an internal clock reference signal of each standard module (S302). The other provided method includes the following steps: a common clock unit of a multi-mode base station acquires the external clock signal from an external clock source; the common clock unit provides the external clock signal to each standard module of the multi-mode base station as an internal clock reference signal of each standard module. In the present invention, as long as at least one of the standard modules or the common clock unit is collocated the external clock source, the multi-mode base station can work. Consequently, the requirement for the application conditions is reduced greatly, the application scenario is more flexible, and the application and development are acquired more extensive.</p> |
