Provided is a method for manufacturing an organic EL display device capable of shortening the measurement time and reducing the luminance unevenness of a display panel. The method for manufacturing the organic EL display device comprises: a first step for acquiring a representative function representing a representative voltage-luminance characteristic (S102); a second step for measuring the luminance at a first signal voltage in a low gradation area (S104); a third step for finding a reference voltage at which the luminance obtained from the representative voltage-luminance characteristic becomes the luminance at the first signal voltage and finding a first correction parameter for making the first signal voltage the reference voltage (S106); a fourth step for finding a predetermined voltage obtained by adding the first correction parameter to a second signal voltage between an intermediate gradation area and a high gradation area (S108); a fifth step for measuring the luminance at the predetermined voltage (S110); and a sixth step for finding a second correction parameter such that the luminance at the predetermined voltage becomes a reference luminance when the second signal voltage is inputted to the representative function (S112).
