The present design relates to a cradle for a portable wall-mount display device, which adopts the operation principle of a roller coaster for preventing the deviation from a track as well as the operation principle of a mountain train driving on an inclined railway in order to allow a display device to move horizontally or vertically along the rail installed indoors, using an electric motor as a power source. As such, users can enjoy watching TV in any comfortable pose, such as lying on the bed in a bedroom or hospital room. With a living room as a multimedia area for all family members, the present invention makes it possible to place a display device, even including display devices to be developed in the future, in any convenient location for all kinds of entertainment. When not in use, the display device can be stored in a hidden place, thereby increasing the free space available.
