PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less-expensive lifesaving bladder having a simple configuration in which an adult and a child can usually wear it without feeling discomfort and can swim while wearing it, and further a buoyancy may act through an artificial operation in the case of emergency or under a certain requisite situation.SOLUTION: This lifesaving bladder is constituted in such a way that a substantial high pressure is applied to a resilient member 3A or a biasing member arranged in advance within a bladder 1 to keep the bladder in its flat and thin state, and at the time of emergency, a recovering force of the resilient member or the biasing member within the bladder acts on it to suck either air or water into the bladder, wherein a volume of the bladder is expanded under air sucked by the recovering force of the resilient member or the biasing member or gas generated through a chemical reaction between the sucked water and foaming agent. In addition, a liquid bag arranged in the bladder is slit under an action of the recovering force acted through a pulling action or pressing action applied outside the liquid bag or a releasing action of the biasing member kept under its latched state and then a buoyancy of the entire bag is increased with gas generated under a reaction between the reaction liquid in the liquid bag and the foaming agent to cause the body of wearing person to float. |
